And because it's a lie, even a tiny falsehood such as this makes him choke up a little (even though he has no throat in this form??? it is a mystery), rendering him unable to finish his sentence until he admits:]

That is correct, aesthetically. It is one I am...hesitant to show others for reasons you may easily conclude.

[Because he can't really communicate with humans if he shows up as box-kun...they'd probably run away screaming or extremely confused, especially following the other Septentriones. Of course, he's comfortable with the rest of their merry little band (considering they already know who and what he is, even in this form, and accepted for it), but for other, "normal" humans? He'd rather not blow his cover.]

Humans have a tendency to fear that which they do not understand.

My hue is usually powder blue, one of the closest to white.

[ it's a very legitimate question, and akane does know how a criminal's mind works. it comes with profiling. to be a good and effective detective, you have to be able to predict a criminal's next step. of course, this does affect one's hue, but only if said detective doesn't think of anything else.

hah... that just reminds her of kogami. she frowns, though she tries to hide it as she buries her face between her knees. it's similar to a face of a kicked puppy, though there really is no reason to feel bad for akane. she's strong in her own merit. ]
